It wasn't that long ago that a trip to the corner video shop was the most convenient way to get a movie. High speed internet access has now made it possible to download movies right off a movie download site. Below, is a sample of some of the movies you can find using movie download sites.

Presumed Innocent: D.A. Rusty Sabich has been accused of murder. His former lover, and co worker in the D.A.'s Office, has been murdered, and the evidence points toward him. He now must figure out just whom the murderer really is to prove his innocence.

Stargate: A unique piece of technology has been discovered in the Egyptian desert. It turns out to be a portal, which is some sort of transport. A group of scientists and military people go through the portal. Once through they are trapped in a battle for their lives as they attempt to return to Earth.

Above the Rim: Tells the story of an inner city high school basketball star as he struggles to choose a path for his life. He is torn between the easy money and fast lifestyle offered by a drug dealer, and the hopes and future a college scholarship, and hard work might bring. Starring Duane Martin, Leon, Tupac Shakur, David Bailey, Tonya Pinkins, Marlon Wayans, and Bernie Mac. (1994 Sports-Drama)

The Chocolate Soldier: Eddy and Stevens are husband and wife opera megastars. To be sure of her fidelity, he camouflages himself as a Cossack and woos her. Cast includes Nelson Eddy, Rise Stevens, Nigel Bruce, Florence Bates, Dorothy Gilmore, and Nydia Westman. (102 minutes, 1941)

Minority Report: A gripping futuristic sci-fi thriller. A new world of crime prevention is being used. It is called the Pre Crime unit. Pre Cogs will see a future crime coming, they will relay this information to the crime unit, who will locate the event before it happens and intercept the criminal before he can commit the crime. When unit Chief John Anderton has his name put forth as a future criminal, it puts him, and the whole pre-crime unit to the test.

The Slams: Pointless action movie has Brown in an L.A. penitentiary after stashing away a heroin backlog and five million dollars. Midway through, the comedy takes over for a quick pickup. Cast includes Jim Brown, Judy Pace, Roland "Bob" Harris, Blunt de Kova, and Ted Cassidy. (97 minutes, 1973)

The Crying Game: Remarkably primordial and adult tale with Rea as an IRA volunteer who helps seize a British cadet Whitaker only to befriend him and later become engaged with his lover. What starts as a thriller impulsively turns into a poignant and sarcastic love tale, with structure twirls that deepen the film's virtually dreamlike voltage. An exclusive, provocative film that author-controller Jordan lugs off with poetic comfort; he made an Oscar for his screenplay. Cast includes Stephen Rea, Miranda Richardson, Woodland Whitaker, Jim Broadbent, Ralph Brown, Adrian Dunbar, and Jay Davidson. (112 minutes, 1992)

Te Alambrista: Boyish, ignorant Ambriz illegally crosses the U.S.-Mexican boundary and is capitalized on as he desires work to aid his family. The feeling is crisp and observational; director Youthful's first flick. Cast includes Domingo Ambriz, Trinidad Silva, Linda Gillin, Ned Beatty, Julius Harris, Paul Berrones, and Edward James Olmos. (110 minutes, 1977)

The Mysterians: Ages after the devastation of their world, the title foreigners land in this world, equip an impregnable dome by a pond, and need females. The planet doesn't take this well. Vibrant visual effects and quick pace make this one of the more superior Japanese sci thriller. Cast includes Kenji Sahara, Yumi Shirakawa, Momoko Koclti, and Akihiko Hirata. (85 minutes, 1957)
